Measurable goals that are directly linked to educational needs are an essential factor in developing effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students. This professional development will provide guidance in developing meaningful goals that can be monitored regularly to determine if progress is being made or if revisions are needed to a student’s educational programming. Pursuant to the Joint Federal Programs Claims Procedures, districts should submit at least one claim by the end of November. Districts that have not filed a claim by November will be contacted.
Districts electing to use Project 615 funding must submit an on-line application by December 1st. Districts not submitting an online application by December 1st will forfeit their allocation and funds will be returned back to Special Education Services. Districts can access the online application through their Single Sign-On, Grants Management Expenditure Report.
School Based Medicaid Services Participation Agreement is now available through the Grants Management System. All districts choosing to use this agreement may begin completing their online application. Follow these steps for application completion.
1. Go to “GMS Access / Select” and scroll to available applications under IDEA. 2. Click “Create” on the line for “School Based Health Part”. Once you have created the application it will appear under your applications. 3. Please agree to all assurances, upload the signature page, and submit.
