Based on the fiscal year's total revenue collections, the FY2017 State Aid formula will be short approximately $4 million of the adjusted appropriations. The deficit in total available funds will cause a State Aid allocation adjustment (06/13/17) and will decrease the State Aid factors from $3,008.60 to $3,005.60.
In an effort to mitigate the cuts that districts have experienced in FY2017 due to cash flow and timing of revenue collection in the Education Reform Revolving Fund (1017), the Office of Management & Enterprise Services (OMES) will advance-fund $55 million of expected June revenue collections to the 1017 Fund for distribution to districts in June.
The June payment, available to districts on Thursday, June 15, is based on funds collected as of June 14, 2017. To calculate your payment, use the most current adjusted allocation times accumulated percentage (100 percent) minus paid to date to equal the amount of payment. The amount of funds collected as of June 14, 2017, is presented below.
- Education Reform Revolving Fund (1017) Adjusted for Revenue Shortfall has collected 100 percent of the Adjusted Appropriated $657,834,971.44
- Common Education Technology Fund has collected 92.41 percent of the Appropriated $41,168,478
- Mineral Leasing Fund has collected 81.20 percent of the Appropriated $4,723,795
- General Revenue Adjusted Revenue Failure has collected 100 percent of the Adjusted Appropriated $1,027,324,288.85
- OK Lottery Fund has collected 100 percent of the Appropriated $23,397,757
