Happy Holidays

Wishing for Peace, Hope and Renewal

By Shelly Ellis
Happy Holidays! I hope that your fall semester went well and that you accomplished all that you set out to do. I hope that this Holiday Season will provide you time for rest and renewal and time with friends and family. I hope that you return in 2017 with a new sense of purpose and excitement. I hope Santa brings you all that you wished for! Thank you for all that you do everyday for the students of Oklahoma. I appreciate you all and wish you Happy Holidays!

OKC Counselors
OSDE Executive Director of Counseling Shelly Ellis and Director of Prevention Services Michelle Sutherlin met with school counselors from Oklahoma City Public Schools on Dec. 15. They worked on counselor self portraits, alignment, setting SMART Goals, learning about resources and self care. The counselors shared their many successes and inspired everyone at the training.
