Dear District Test Coordinator,

Please share this message with science educators, curriculum coordinators, and administrators.

The Office of Assessments is pleased to present the newly designed Test & Item Specifications for the 2016-17 Grades 5, 8 and Biology Oklahoma Core Curriculum Tests (OCCTs).  The following documents are attached to this communication and will also be available on the Office of Assessments main page under the announcements section:

  • Guide to the 2016-17 Test and Item Specifications for Science
  • Grade 5 Science Test and Item Specifications
  • Grade 8 Science Test and Item Specifications
  • Biology Test and Item Specifications

The OSDE plans to provide training opportunities for the new science assessments beginning in Summer 2016.
