Commercial licensees,
As mandated by Senate Bill 1704, employees of licensed medical marijuana businesses must renew their credentials annually between Jan. 1-31.
OMMA is aware of a technical issue involving Social Security Number verification for some employees. To ensure business continuity for those affected, the following guidance has been issued:

No penalties: Licensees and employees will not be penalized for delays resulting from technical errors beyond their control.

Continued authorization: Employees credentialed for the 2025 calendar year may continue working while their 2026 renewal application is pending.

Resolution: A technical workaround has been identified, and OMMA is actively assisting employees to correct and finalize their applications.
