UPDATE: Compliance Inspection Report Availability and Notification Process

Commercial licensees, 

This notice serves to inform all commercial licensees (excluding testing laboratories) of an update to the communication process regarding inspection results.

Notification Process Update

Within five business days after the completion of any scheduled inspection, licensees will receive an automated email notification.

Once this notification is sent, the Compliance Inspection Report will be available for viewing and downloading via the OMMA Business Portal.

Please be advised that any violations or findings documented in a preliminary report at the time of the inspection are subject to change upon completion of the final review.


Understanding the Report

The report is organized into the following sections:

Facility and Visit Information

  • Facility details: Business Name, License Number and Facility Contact.
  • Visit details: Visit Number, Inspection Date, Primary Inspector, Secondary Inspector and Visit Type.

Assessment Details

  • Assessment task: The specific section of the inspection form.
  • Inspection question: A shortened version of the question (up to 250 characters).
  • Result: Indicates "Potential Violation Observed," "No Potential Violation Observed" or "Not Applicable."
  • Comments: Specific notes entered by the inspector.

Accessing Your Report

  1. Navigate to the Business Portal.
  2. Select Inspection Reports in the top navigation bar.
  3. Select your business's title from the list.
  4. Find the report you wish to view, and select View/Download Report to open it in a new browser window.

Note: This portal feature includes only recent inspection reports completed in MedPortal. Reports for previous inspections must still be requested through an Open Records Request.
