Follow-Up: Fundamental Behavioral Program Implementation Training
Last week, ES2 hosted three training
sessions to educate energy managers and organizational leaders on adapting
statewide templates and resources to develop their local 20x2020 behavioral
conservation programs.
If you attended training:
ES2 will be sending a follow-up email that
includes teamwork online project management log-in credentials and a training
evaluation survey. If you did not sign-in during training, please contact ES2
to ensure you receive the communication.
If you missed training:
Once your organization has issued a PO to
ES2, please contact ES2 for help identifying what outstanding forms you need to
submit, how to access educational resources and your best next steps. If you
have encountered a challenge in issuing a PO, please contact ES2 ASAP so we can
help you work through any issues.
For questions about
training and your next steps, please contact Morgan Miller of ES2 at mmiller@es2ok.com or 405-888-5665.
Naming Conventions
Naming
conventions are critical to the quality of data and thus the success of the
goal to reduce energy by 20% by 2020. Please follow the naming conventions
detailed in the “how to” documents that are found on the implementation
page.
Note: Naming
conventions are necessary because these elements are shared by everyone in the
database and must be unique in a standardized way.

if:
- You
are stuck on any part of the database and can’t find the answer
- This
newsletter is being forwarded to you
-
You
need new EnergyCAP users created, to reset a password or questions about
the database.
Building Portfolio
Many organizations
have started setting up their building portfolio in the EnergyCAP software. We
encourage you to continue working through that process, since each agency
is required to ensure their data is entered into the EnergyCAP software.
However we understand that it may take time to fully set up your building
portfolio, define your meters, and enter every data point all the way back to
the baseline.
Utility Bills
If you
would like to get a head-start on energy savings and take advantage of the fee-free
period, ES2 will begin reviewing your available, raw utility data to better
understand your energy savings opportunities and provide additional support.
This service can be provided before you have completed the detailed data entry
in EnergyCAP! ES2 is happy to begin reviewing copies of your utility
bills in their original form, which you can share by email, mail or by making
arrangements for ES2 to pick up copies from your office.
If you
have successfully gathered utility bills from 2012 and on, please contact
Morgan Miller of ES2 at mmiller@es2ok.com or (405) 888-5665 to arrange
transfer of the data.
