There are a ton of exciting enhancements for individual users to look forward to as we upgrade to PeopleSoft 9.2 -- here is a look at five of the stars:
5. No more Crystal reports
If you have never heard of a Crystal Report -- skip to #4. If you have, you probably know that we have experienced some challenges with these reports -- especially since the Tools Upgrade last October. All Crystal Reports are being converted to XML Publisher. What that means to you -- the end-user -- is reports that look better and process more effciently.
4. A New Look
PeopleSoft 9.2 will bring a new, sleek design to match the new, sleek functions. New colors, more modern features, and new navigation make using the system more efficient for end users.
3. In-Screen User Help
PeopleSoft 9.2 offers users immediate access to answers to basic use questions. By simply clicking one of the question marks scattered throughout the modules, you will be able to get relevant information on the functionality of PeopleSoft that is customized to how the State of Oklahoma uses it.
2. Increased Performance
 How many times have you started a query or report, only to have to leave it running overnight -- or even over the weekend -- in order for it to finish? One of the biggest goals of the upgrade is to increase and improve performance of the overall system so that this is no longer necessary. What does that mean for you? More efficient processing and less waiting around.
