OpenRange has partnered with Funds For Learning, a nationally recognized E-rate consulting firm, to provide Oklahoma schools and libraries with complimentary E-rate support services.
E-rate Training
E-rate 101: A Beginner's Guide to the E-rate Program: This session will take a look at the fundamentals of the E-rate, including the program’s history and regulatory structure, an overview of product and service eligibility, and a high-level glance at the process for applying for funds.

Cracking The Window, Part 1: Eligibility and the Form 470: This session starts with a detailed look at product and service eligibility, providing information on the types of connectivity and infrastructure services which qualify for E-rate discounts. Next, we take a look at the
E-rate procurement process, including regulatory requirements for the FCC Form 470 and vendor selection process.

Cracking The Window, Part 2: Preparing the Form 471: Part two of the series is all about the preparation and filing of the FCC Form 471. Applicants will learn helpful tips and best practices for the submission of E-rate funding requests, as well as important regulatory and document retention requirements.

Applicants often have questions about calculating discount rates, submitting funding applications and determining eligibility of products and services. Funds For Learning offers email alert services and weekly newsletters to keep E-rate stakeholders informed.
