Location: 2237 SW 76th St.
Victim: Slaughter, Kellie (W/F – 03/22/1980)
UPDATE:
A suspect was identified as 51-year-old Carlos Slaughter (DOB 01/23/1974). A warrant was obtained for Slaughter’s arrest. It was learned he fled the state and was found deceased after a standoff with police in Topeka, KS.
ORIGINAL NEWS RELEASE:
Narrative: Thursday July 24th, 2025, Oklahoma City Police were called to assist at a residential fire. The victim, Kellie Slaughter, was found inside the residence, deceased. Investigators were called to the scene as it appears the victim had injuries consistent with homicide.
The investigation is in the early stages and no arrests have been made. Anyone with information is asked to call the Homicide Tip Line 405/297-1200.
