Date & Time: 10/12/2024 at 4:40 p.m.
Location: 5725 S. Ross
Victim: Gibson, Jerry W (W/M – 11/30/1943)
Narrative: On October 23rd, 2024, Oklahoma City police were notified of an incident which occurred on October 12th, 2024. The incident took place at a nursing home where the victim, Jerry Gibson, was involved in an altercation with another resident. During the altercation, Gibson fell and sustained a hip fracture. Gibson was hospitalized and sadly died eight days later. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has ruled this case a homicide. The case will be presented to the District Attorney’s Office who will ultimately decide what charges, if any, will be applied.
