Incident #2025-0040346

Date & Time of Incident: 6/2/2025 at 3:45 AM.

Location: SW 57^th and Villa Ave.

Victim: Johnson, Cory Don (B/M, DOB: 11/14/1987)

Narrative: Early yesterday morning, police responded to a shooting near the intersection of SW 57^th and Villa Ave. Responding officers found the victim, Cory Johnson, deceased at the scene.

Investigators learned Mr. Johnson was riding his bicycle when he became involved in a confrontation which led to him being shot to death.

Currently, no arrests have been made. Anyone with information should call the Homicide Tip-Line at 405/297-1200.
