Date & Time of Incident: 5/30/2025 at 11:54 PM.
Location: 4706 Sunnyview Dr.
Victim: Sorrels, Billy (W/M, DOB: 12/31/1979)
Arrested: Kirby, Elisha (B/F, DOB: 10/5/1994)
Narrative: Late Friday evening, police responded to a shooting call at 4706 Sunnyview Dr. Responding officers found the victim, Billy Sorrels, deceased at the scene. He appeared to have been shot to death.
Investigators learned the arrested person, Elisha Kirby, had fired a round from the doorway of her residence. The bullet she fired entered Mr. Sorrels’ residence through a wall, where it struck and killed him.
Ms. Kirby was arrested on a complaint of murder in the second degree and booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center. Anyone with information should call the Homicide Tip-Line at 405/297-1200.
