Date & Time of Incident: 1/4/2025 at 9:09 AM.

Location: 9300 SW 45^th Ct.

Deceased: Lawrence, Shawn (B/M, DOB: 1/3/1984)

Narrative: On the morning of January 4, 2025, police were called to a shooting at a residence in the 9300 block of SW 45^th Ct. Responding officers discovered Shawn Lawrence deceased at the scene. He appeared to have been shot to death. Investigators learned Mr. Lawrence was involved in an altercation when he was shot and killed.

The shooter and all other involved persons were interviewed and released. The case will be presented to the Canadian County DA’s office for review.
