Location: 1200 block of NE 23rd St.
Victim: Hutcherson, G’Rico (B/M, DOB: 7/21/2007)
Arrested: Mitchell, Lundon (B/M, DOB: 2/13/1991)
Arrested: Stubbs, Bryan (B/M, DOB: 8/25/2008)
Narrative: On 8/20/2024, police responded to a double shooting in the 1200 block of NE 23rd St. Responding officers discovered the body of 17-year-old G’Rico Hutcherson lying in a parking lot, near the roadway. He appeared to have been shot to death.
A second teenaged shooting victim was found a short distance away. He was transported to OU Medical Center and is expected to survive.Detectives believe the two victims were walking in the area of NE 23rd and Lottie Ave. when when they were shot.
Investigators quickly developed information regarding the two suspects, and both were taken into custody last night. 33-year-old Lundon Mitchell was booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center and 15-year-old Bryan Stubbs was booked into the Berry House. Both suspects were booked on murder complaints.
