Incident #2017-0063832

Date & Time of Incident: 8/8/2017 at 1:02 AM.

Location: 715 NW 91^st St.

Victim: Jones, Andre (B/M, DOB: 5/29/1975).

Arrested: Garcia, Jeffrey (H/M, DOB: 7/21/1992).

Narrative: In August of 2017, police responded to a shooting at 715 NW 91^st St. The victim, Andre Jones, initially survived being shot and Jeffrey Garcia was sentenced to prison for the shooting.

On January 11^th of this year, Mr. Jones passed away. The Oklahoma State Medical Examiner’s Office ruled that Mr. Jones died as a result of the shooting, therefore his death was ruled a homicide.

It will be up to the Oklahoma County District Attorney’s Office as to whether any further charges will be added to Mr. Garcia.
