Date & Time of Incident: 7/15/2024 at 6:44 PM.
Location: 1901 Minnie Lane Apt. A
Victim: Lopez-Monterroso, Ethan Evenson (H/M, DOB: 9/2/2023)
Arrested: Lopez-Tello, Marnin Relaey (H/M, DOB: 11/1/2001)
Narrative: On the evening of July 15, 2024, police responded to a check-the-welfare call in the 1900 block of Minnie Lane. The call stated a 10-month-old child was unresponsive and was transported to Baptist Medical Center. The child, Ethan Lopez-Monterroso, was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Evidence shows the child died of injuries consistent with homicide. Further investigation led to the arrest of the child’s father, Marnin Relaey Lopez-Tello. Mr. Lopez-Tello was booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center yesterday on a complaint of murder in the first degree by child abuse.
