Portion of N. May Ave. near 150^th closed for water main repair

The far-right southbound lane of May Avenue near N. 144^th Street is closed for the next several hours while crews with the Oklahoma City Utilities Department work to repair a 16” water main break in the area. The break is in the grass along the curb line, but crews will need to shut down the lane to create a safety barrier. Residents in nearby apartment complexes may be without water for the next 4-8 hours while crews complete the repair. Utilities officials estimate that service will be restored between 7 and 11 p.m.
