Date & Time: 11/09/2023 at 10:47 p.m.
Location: 224 NW 83rd St.
Victim: Wallace, Kala (W/F – 11/29/1988)
Arrested: Wallace, Taryl (W/M – 03/04/1982)
Narrative: Last Thursday night, Oklahoma City Police were called to a shooting at 224 NW 83rd St. Officers arrived at the home and found 34-year-old Kala Wallace had been shot. She was transported to an area hospital. Her husband, 41-year-old Taryl Wallace was also at the home and was believed to be impaired from alcohol. He was taken into custody and booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center for domestic assault with a deadly weapon, possessing a firearm by a convicted felon, and carrying a firearm while under the influence.
While at the hospital, Mrs. Wallace succumbed to her injuries the following day. The case will be presented to the District Attorney’s Office who will ultimately determine if charges will be amended.
