Date & Time of Incident: 4/1/2023 at 8:57 PM
Location: 4120 Newcastle Rd.
Deceased Victim: Tanajara, Francisco (H/M, DOB: 4/14/1984)
Deceased Victim: Oberholtzer, Eric (W/M, DOB: 11/24/1993)
Deceased Victim: Waiting on positive ID and next-of-kin notification.
Wounded Victim: Wallace, Felicia (W/F, DOB: 9/29/1987)
Wounded Victim: Owens, Clayton (W/M, DOB: 12/3/1986)
Wounded/Arrested: Myers, Tyler (W/M, DOB: 3/23/1989).
Charge: Murder in the first degree.
Narrative: This past Saturday evening, police responded to a shooting call at the Whiskey Barrel Saloon in SW OKC. When officers arrived, they discovered numerous shooting victims. Three of the victims succumbed to their injuries, while another three were transported to area hospitals for treatment.
It appears that an altercation broke out inside of the bar between several biker gangs. The event escalated into numerous people exchanging gunfire.
One of the wounded, Tyler Myers, upon release from the hospital was booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center on a complaint of murder in the first degree.
The case is still in the early stages and more arrests are possible.
