3/24/23 BRT Construction Update

NW 8th St. and Hudson Ave.

NW 13th St. and Classen Blvd.

Main St. and Broadway Ave.

NW Expressway and Blackwelder Ave.

NW 56th St. and Portland Ave.

NW 8th St. and Hudson Ave.

Phase: Stormwater vault work

Traffic Control: North and southbound Hudson Ave. will be closed from just north of NW 7th St. to NW 8th St. until early April. Street parking is open on Hudson Ave. between NW 7th St. and the alley just to the north, and sidewalks remain open for pedestrian access to area businesses.

Estimated Construction Timeline: 3/27/23 – 4/12/23

NW 13th St. and Classen Blvd.

Phase: Waterline work

Traffic Control: The left and middle lanes of southbound Classen Blvd. will be closed between NW 14th St. and NW 13th St. There will be one southbound lane open during this time.

Estimated Construction Timeline: 3/27/23 – 4/11/23

Main St. and Broadway Ave.

Phase: Waterline work

Traffic Control: Southbound Broadway Ave. will be closed between Main St. and Park Ave. There will be two northbound lanes open during this time.

NW Expressway and Blackwelder Ave.

Phase: Storm sewer work, platform construction, and pavement work

Traffic Control: The right lane of westbound NW Expressway will be closed west of Blackwelder Ave. There will be two westbound lanes open during this time. Also, the right lane of eastbound NW Expressway will be closed east of Blackwelder, with two eastbound lanes open.

Estimated Construction Timeline: 3/27/23 – 5/1/23

NW 56th St. and Portland Ave.

Phase: Waterline work

Traffic Control: The westbound lane of NW 56th St. between Portland and Grand Blvd. will be closed during this time. There will be one eastbound lane open.
