Date & Time of Incident: 3/13/2023 at 9:22 AM

Location: 2830 SW 59^th St.

Victim: Smith, Steffon (B/M, DOB 11/5/1984)

Arrested: Harvey, Cordero (B/M, DOB: 7/13/2007)

Narrative: On 3/13/23, police responded to an apartment complex at SW 59^th St. and May Ave., regarding a shooting. The victim, Steffon Smith, was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The following evening, officers arrested Cordero Harvey. After being interviewed, Mr. Harvey was booked into the Berry House on a complaint of murder in the first degree.
