10/07/22 BRT Construction Update

NW 42nd Street and Classen Blvd.

NW Expressway and Portland Ave.

NW Expressway and Pennsylvania Ave.

NW 13th Street and Classen Blvd.

NW 42nd St. and Classen Blvd.

Phase: Electrical work, demolition, and bus pad construction

Traffic Control: The right lane of northbound Classen Blvd. will be closed between NW 41st St. and Helm St. There will be two northbound lanes open during this time.

Estimated Construction Timeline: 10/10/22 – 10/30/22

NW Expressway and Portland Ave.

Phase: Demolition and bus pad construction

Traffic Control: The right lane of southbound Portland Avenue will be closed at NW Expressway. There will be one southbound lane open, as well as two northbound lanes during this time. Southbound Portland Ave. traffic will also be able to make right turns to NW Expressway.

Estimated Construction Timeline: 10/11/22 - 11/11/22

NW Expressway and Pennsylvania Ave.

Phase: Utility work

Traffic Control: The right lane of eastbound NW Expressway will be closed between Villa Ave. and Pennsylvania Ave. There will be two thru lanes open, as well as the right-turn and left-turn lanes during this time. The right lane of southbound Pennsylvania Ave. will also be closed between NW Expressway and NW 50th St.

Estimated Construction Timeline: 10/11/22 - 11/18/22

NW 13th St. and Classen Blvd.

Phase: Utility locate work

Traffic Control: The right lane of southbound Classen Blvd will be closed between NW 14th St. and NW 13th St. There will still be two southbound lanes open and drivers will still have access to NW 13th St. and Western Ave. during this time.

Estimated Construction Timeline: 10/10/22 - 10/14/22
