Don't Rely on Luck to Get Home Safe This St. Patrick's Day - Drive Sober

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol ENDUI team will be partnering with law enforcement agencies across the state this St. Patrick's Day weekend to make sure you get home safe.

While not the deadliest holiday in Oklahoma for impaired driving crashes, the 2017 St. Patrick's Day holiday weekend claimed ten lives. According to data from the Oklahoma Highway Safety Office, there were 528 crashes during the 2017 St. Patrick's Day holiday period.

The ENDUI team will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint in Norman on Friday night. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol will be joined by the Norman Police Department and the Cleveland County Sheriff's Office for the checkpoint and a high-visibility patrol across the county.
