Date Set for Annual Traffic Safety Forum

Each year, people from around the state who have an interest in traffic safety gather to discuss projects, get ideas for ways to improve safety in their area, and meet with others in their field.

This year, the Traffic Safety Forum will be held at the newly renovated Sheraton Downtown Hotel in Oklahoma City.

The dates: Wednesday and Thursday, April 24-25, 2019.

While we are busy planning the speakers, setting the agenda, getting catering menus selected, and working on ways to improve the process, you should be marking your calendar to attend!

As always, there is no fee to attend this forum. Attendance is limited by space and catering, so we do ask that you register if you plan to join us.

For the first time, we are planning to have various vendors at this event. Vendors on the invitation list include Smart Start, Geo Safe, FirstNet, Stalker Radar, Laser Technologies, Stoltz Telecom, SafeKids, AAA Oklahoma, State Farm, and many others.

If you have any suggestions for topics that you would like to see covered at this year's event, please email them to HighwaySafety@dps.ok.gov before February 12.
