all weather permitting:
I-244 pavement reconstruction
project; new lane and ramp closures
As part of a pavement reconstruction project between the
I-244/US-75 junction (northeast corner of the Inner Dispersal Loop) to near
Memorial Dr., significant delays can be expected through summer 2016. Lane and
ramp closures until further notice include:
·All lanes of eastbound I-244
are closed at the northeast corner of the IDL through July. Traffic continuing
to eastbound I-244 will be detoured to northbound US-75 to SH-11 around this
work zone. Drivers may also use the west, south and east legs of the IDL around
this closure.
·East and westbound I-244 is
narrowed to two lanes in each direction from near the US-75 junction (northeast
corner of the IDL) to near Memorial Road. Westbound I-244 traffic
approaching downtown will need to use the left lane for US-75 access, and the
right lane for continued access on westbound I-244. Use caution as traffic
adjusts.
·The westbound I-244 on ramp from
Yale Ave. and the off-ramp to Delaware Ave. are closed.
·North and southbound Peoria Ave. and Delaware Ave. are narrowed to one
lane in each direction under I-244.
·The eastbound I-244 on-ramp from
Yale Ave. is closed through July.
·The eastbound I-244 on and
off-ramps at Utica Ave. are closed through June.
·Various lane closures on Admiral
Pl. under I-244 until 7 p.m. Friday. All
lanes of Admiral Pl. will be closed at this location from 10 p.m. Friday to 5
a.m. Saturday.
SH-51 narrowed near Muskogee Turnpike
Westbound SH-51 is narrowed to one lane between E.
81st St./Houston St. and the Broken Arrow Expressway (near the
Muskogee Turnpike entrance) until mid-May for surface repairs. The speed limit
is reduced to 45 miles per hour. Expect delays and be alert to crews in the
area.
US-412/US-64/SH-51 narrows near Quanah Ave. tonight
The right lane of
westbound US-412/US-64/SH-51 will be closed between Quanah Ave. and Adams Rd.
from 6 p.m. tonight to 6 a.m. Friday for striping. There will also be
short-term narrowing of ramps in the corridor as part of this project.
US-75
narrows, ramp closes at 2nd St. tonight
Drivers can
expect various lane closures on northbound US-75 at the I-244 junction
(northeast corner of the Inner Dispersal Loop) from 7 p.m. tonight to 5 a.m. Friday
for bridge maintenance. The northbound US-75 on-ramp from
2nd St. will also be closed as part of this project.
US-169 narrows at I-244 junction tonight
Drivers can expect various
lane closures on north and southbound US-169 at the I-244 junction from 7 p.m.
tonight to 5 a.m. Thursday and nightly through Friday for bridge maintenance.
I-244/US-75 narrows near 21st St.
South tonight
Drivers can expect various
short-term lane and shoulder closures on east and westbound I-244/north and
southbound US-75 near 21st St. South from 9 p.m. tonight to 5 a.m. Friday
for traffic sensor installations.
US-75 narrows near 156th St. North
tonight
The left lane of
northbound US-75 will be closed in various locations between 156th
St. North to near Ramona from 6 p.m. tonight to 6 a.m. Friday for striping.
US-64/SH-51 narrows, ramp closes near
Memorial Dr. Friday
The right lane of
westbound US-64/SH-51 (Broken Arrow Expressway) will be closed between Memorial
Dr. and the I-44 junction from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday for surface repairs. The
westbound on-ramp from Memorial Dr. will also be closed during this time.
Ongoing projects:
US-75 narrows near
Ramona daily
The left lane of north
and southbound US-75 will be closed between Ramona to south of Bartlesville
from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays as part of an ongoing cable barrier installation
project.
Cincinnati
Ave. bridge load posted over Inner Dispersal Loop
The southbound Cincinnati Ave. bridge over the
south leg of the IDL, which includes exits to 15th St. and eastbound
US-64/SH-51 (Broken Arrow Expressway) is load posted until further notice. It is
posted at seven tons for 2-axle box trucks, 10-tons for semis and 20-tons for
double-trailer semis.
SH-167 narrowed north
of I-44 in Catoosa
North and southbound SH-167 (193rd E. Ave.) is narrowed to one open
lane and a 12-foot lane restriction in place from near Pine St. to near the
SH-266/SH-167 junction until early fall as part of a bridge rehabilitation
project. Temporary signals are in place. Delays can be expected in this
corridor.
