Public
invited to attend open house meeting on future SH-1 project in Ada
The Oklahoma Department of Transportation is hosting an open house public
meeting on Thursday, May 7 to provide information on a future project to widen
SH-1 from two to four lanes near the SH-3 interchange in Ada. There will be no
formal presentation and members of the public may come and go at their
convenience.
The meeting will be
conducted in an open house format, where the public can view information and
provide input on the proposed project. Once ODOT has selected a preferred
highway alignment, detailed environmental studies and design plans will be
prepared before construction can begin. Right-of-way acquisition and utility
relocation are scheduled in ODOT’s Eight-year Construction Work plan for
Federal Fiscal Year 2016 and construction is scheduled to go to bid in FFY
2020.
