OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Effective October 1st, 2014, the Department of Consumer Credit is adopting the National SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator test component with Uniform State Content. The Department of Consumer Credit will be the 44th state agency nationwide to adopt the National SAFE MLO test. The Uniform State test will allow potential Mortgage Loan Originators (MLOs) in Oklahoma to fulfill their testing requirements through the National Test; MLOs will no longer be required to take a second state- specific test component in order to seek licensure.
