There were more than 70 items on the agendas of the Broken Arrow City Council, Municipal Authority, and Economic Development Authority meetings on May 7, 2024. Here’s a recap from Tuesday night.
Council Amphitheater. The $577,314.62 sale will close on or before May 17, 2024, and be paid to the Broken Arrow Economic Development Authority.
Council awarded the Cold Milling Asphalt construction contract to A&A Asphalt. The contract will assist the Streets and Stormwater Department in various milling projects throughout the year.

Council approved several street improvements during Tuesday night’s meeting including:
Council approved recommendations from the Drainage Advisory Committee to use 2018 GO Bond funds for the following improvements:
Police Chief Brandon Berryhill recognized Nancy Charlick for her quick thinking and selflessness during a lost child situation.
Broken Arrow Economic Development Authority
The in downtown Broken Arrow’s Rose District. The grain tower sits on property owned by Union Pacific Railroad and Hansen Mueller has a lease agreement for the approximately .25 acres located at 502 South Main Street which will be transferred to the City of Broken Arrow. The purchase is funded with Broken Arrow Economic Development Authority funds.
