We wanted to provide you with a mid-week report on the progress of our trash collection services. Simply put, our crews have been getting after it following the icy conditions that halted service on Monday! At this impressive pace, our teams expect to have all routes done by the end of the day on Friday. Here’s what to expect: 

• Thursday, 1/25 - Finishing Tuesday routes and beginning Wednesday routes. 
• Friday, 1/26 - Finishing Wednesday and Thursday routes. 

As a reminder, trash and recyclables are being collected together and dumped at the landfill through January 26th. We will resume separate collections (trash to the landfill, recyclables to the transfer station) starting Monday, January 29th.  

Another reminder, there has been no charge for extra bags of trash outside your cart this week. Because of the changes we had to make due to extreme weather conditions, we are also waiving the fee for extra bags January 29th through February 1st. We hope this fee waiver will help everyone get cleaned up after the schedule shifts due to the holiday, dangerous wind chills, and icy roads these past two weeks.
