Broken Arrow’s biannual Trash Bash and Recycling Rally event is set for Saturday, April 29th, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The Trash Bash is Broken Arrow's litter cleanup day in which groups of people volunteer to beautify their neighborhoods by picking up trash and debris from our roads and waterways. To volunteer as an individual or group for the Trash Bash litter cleanup: Click here to sign up and an event coordinator will contact you to assign you a cleanup area and arrange for the pickup of your supplies.
The Recycling Rally is a drive-through, drop-off event for hard-to-recycle items like electronics, sharps, batteries, tires (limit of 10), and more! It will be held from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Broken Arrow’s Events Park, at 21101 E. 101st Street.
Items that will be accepted at Recycling Rally are:
- Medications
- E-waste ($26 for televisions; $10 for CRT monitors; all others free)
- Ammunition (50 caliber or less only)
- Tires (limit 10; no tractor tires or tires with rims)
- Batteries
- Plastic grocery bags
- Cardboard
- Medical sharps
- Paper shredding (limit of 3 boxes)
- Fire extinguishers
