Two national food retailers and a convenience store have shown significant interest in building in the new Aspen Ridge Development, along with the Reasor's grocery store announced in the Spring of 2021.
The City has had pre-development meetings with the convenience store and Broken Arrow Economic Development Manager Jennifer Rush said she expects it to be the first addition to the new Tax Increment Finance (TIF) District.
"They indicated they want to be up and running to get all of the construction traffic coming through the area," Rush said.
The food retailers are enthusiastic to begin construction as well. However, as the development anchor, the Reasor's details had to be worked out first before the conversations with other retailers could start.
