Union Pacific began their railroad crossings improvements on August 11 which includes removing and replacing the rails, ties, and ballasts. The designated railroad crossings will be closed to motorists during the construction project. The closures are expected to begin at 6:30 a.m. and should conclude by 2:30 p.m. each day. Officials from the City of BA and Tulsa County cut the ribbon on a new Tourism and Economic Development (TED) Office on Aug. 11. The office is located at 123 N. Main St. and includes an extension of the Tulsa County Court Clerk's office in the adjacent space.

The City of BA hosed a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate its newest fire station! Fire Station 3 will replace the nearly 50-year-old Fire Station 3 currently located on S. Elm Pl. north of Jasper St. (131st St.). Firefighters and Emergency Medical Services personnel will begin moving in within the following week.
