(Canton) – Agents with the Ohio Investigative
Unit have filed administrative charges against a Struthers bar for drugs.
The
Ohio Investigative Unit and the Mahoning Valley Law Enforcement Task Force executed
a search warrant March 23 at the Bowery, Inc., 2729 East Midlothian Boulevard.
At the conclusion of the search warrant agents administratively charged Bowery,
Inc., with three counts of drug possession, two counts of drug sales and one
count of drug paraphernalia possession.
During
the search warrant at the bar, the task force charged three individuals in
connection with drug related offenses. Those individuals were arraigned in
Struthers Municipal Court on March 24. Their next scheduled court appearance
will be on March 31.
The
administrative case will be presented to the Ohio Liquor Control Commission at
a later date. Possible administrative penalties include fines, suspensions or
revocation of the liquor permit.
