Announcing our Wednesday Keynote Panel, moderated by Gene Lloyd!

Teaching and Learning: The Real-World Career Implications of Artificial Intelligence

Artificial Intelligence is the third wave of technology evolution and is becoming more ubiquitous in the workplace and education. This panel discussion will provide real world examples of how AI is currently used in Teacher Prep (STEM Education), the NFL, and at Amazon. Joining the panel are Julie Maynard, PhD candidate in STEM education at OSU and Co-founder of the Starfish STEM Academy; Tyler Oberly, Director of Football Analytics, Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the NFL, and Troy Larson, Senior Developmental Web Operations, Cloud Architect Amazon Web Services, and the Pollexy Project. The session is moderated by Gene Lloyd, Adjunct Faculty Tiffin University, Instructional Designer & Technologist for the Center of Excellence in Teaching and Learning, St. Petersburg College and Co-founder of the Starfish STEM Academy. All panel discussion participants received their start and attribute much of their success to the educational opportunities provided by Ohio’s educational technology and learning initiatives over the last several years for students, teachers, and administrators.
