You are invited to join us in a statewide celebration of Ohio’s in-demand jobs! May 6-10 will be Ohio’s second annual In-Demand Jobs Week. This will be an excellent opportunity to help students and job seekers in your area learn more about all the rewarding in-demand careers right in their own backyard. There are many ways community leaders and workforce professionals can get involved:
FOR EMPLOYERS AND WORKFORCE PROFESSIONALS
- In-Demand Jobs Week will be an opportunity to open your doors to students and job seekers to increase interest in local jobs and build a talent pipeline.
FOR COMMUNITIES
- In-Demand Jobs Week is an opportunity to identify like-minded stakeholders to partner, plan events, and increase awareness about jobs available in the community.
FOR STUDENTS, JOB SEEKERS AND FAMILIES
- Through local events and activities, In-Demand Jobs Week is an opportunity for students, job seekers and families to learn more about the rewarding and high-demand careers available right in their own backyard.
FOR EDUCATORS
- In-Demand Jobs Week is an opportunity to inspire students by focusing on in-demand careers and pathways in the classroom and beyond.
In-Demand Jobs Week is not possible without you! You are encouraged to partner with local business, education and community leaders in planning events and activities that will inspire excitement and awareness in your community.
