Counterterrorism Education Learning Lab: Community Awareness Program
Dear ILOs –
You are invited to participate in the creation of an upcoming public safety training video for the state of Ohio, developed in partnership with the Ohio Department of Public Safety (ODPS) and the Counterterrorism Education Learning Lab (CELL). The CELL is a Denver based nonprofit, nonpartisan institution that is dedicated to preventing terrorism and enhancing public safety (www.thecell.org). ODPS is partnering with the CELL to develop this video that will be a part of the CELL’s U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) certified public safety training, the Community Awareness Program (CAP) for Ohio.
We are working with the CELL to conduct filming for this video during August 22 - August 26 across the greater “Three C’s” metro areas. We are currently looking for the following:

Filming locations: notable Ohio businesses, parks, buildings, sporting venues, etc. willing to be included in the video and ending credits as active ODPS partners

Partners interested in being “actors” in the film: actors in the background of scenes, acting out suspicious activities, etc.
Filming times will be finalized in the coming days, but the time commitment would be several hours on one or two days. If you would like to participate, or if your business/employer is willing to have filming occur at a specific location, please email and fill out the attached video release form no later than Wednesday, August 15th.
