OSSC Partners with University Emergency Management Directors to Release New Templates & Resources
The Ohio School Safety Center (OSSC) is working to collect and share emergency management and safety resources with Ohio’s institutions of higher education.
Since December of 2020, the Center has been collaborating with several Emergency Management Directors from universities across Ohio including: Bowling Green State University, Kent State University, The Ohio State University, University of Cincinnati, University of Dayton, and University of Akron.
The goal of this partnership is to ensure that all institutions throughout Ohio have the tools necessary to help successfully meet the statutory requirements as outlined by the Clery Act.
Together, the team created various types of tabletop exercise templates, collected emergency management resources, and are planning statewide exercise events for 2022. All resources collected are available, free of charge, to all institutions across Ohio using the Center’s newly revamped website.
