The Ohio School Safety Center is excited to announce that the 2021 Ohio School Safety Summit will be held October 6-8. The Summit will be virtual this year to enable a much larger group of stakeholders to attend since it will be during the school year when travel tends to be difficult.
The free summit will provide an opportunity for school safety, public safety, mental health professionals, and others to share best practices, training, and resources with schools and community leaders across the state.
Conference presentations and training opportunities will include experts in physical security, mental health, school climate, critical incident response, cyber, threat assessment and so much more.
Who Should Attend this Conference?
The OSSC welcomes participants with a passion for improving school safety to attend the conference. The subject matter will be particularly relevant to educators, transportation advisors, school administrators, school resource officers, first responders, mental health professionals including school counselors, state/federal/local government partners, elected officials, and other school safety and security professionals.
