Governor Mike DeWine announced $3.1 million in funding to 12 law enforcement agencies in the Mahoning Valley counties through the Ohio Violent Crime Reduction Grant Program, including funds for the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force. 

A statewide human trafficking operation resulted in the arrest of 35 individuals seeking to buy sex and 21 individuals seeking to buy sex from minors. 

Three Toledo men were charged with trafficking two females, including one minor, in northeast Columbus. 

A Cincinnati man was sentenced to eight years in prison for arranging to meet an underage girl for commercial sexual activity.
