Twelve people were charged with engaging in prostitution after a sting operation conducted by the Fairfield County Sheriff's Office. 

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine signed House Bill 427 into law, which expands the legal definition of compulsion, making it easier to convict someone of human trafficking.

The Summit County Sheriff’s Office recovered multiple victims as part of a human trafficking investigation in Akron. 

A Washington County man was arrested and charged with importuning and possession of criminal tools after an investigation by the Southeastern Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force. 

Three individuals were arrested and indicted on federal human trafficking charges following an investigation by the Central Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force. 

The Southeastern Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force arrested nine individuals on charges related to human trafficking and other crimes against children.
