According to an interview with the Human Trafficking Institute, sex traffickers are increasingly turning to social media to recruit victims. 

A Cleveland man was convicted of sex trafficking of a minor and other charges.

The FBI’s Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force arrested a 34-year-old Quincy man on federal child pornography charges. 

The Washington County Sheriff's Office arrested a Marietta man for arranging to meet a 15-year-old girl for sexual activity. 

The Ohio Attorney General's Office announced that it will award $10,000 grants to 10 communities to develop education programs for individuals who have purchased sex. 

The Cleveland Rape Crisis Center received a grant from the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services to increase services for LGBTQ survivors of human trafficking and sexual assault.
