Why should you take a safety course?
What class should I take?
Education is one part to reducing the number of motorcyclist killed and injured on our highways. The MO program, offered by the Ohio Department of Public Safety, provides different levels of motorcycle safety courses for riders based on their skill levels and objectives.
What do I need to provide?
Courses are held rain or shine so students will need to arrive prepared and must provide the following protective equipment: over-the-ankle footwear, long pants (without any holes), long-sleeved shirt or jacket, full-fingered gloves and eye protection. Depending on the location, helmets may be provided by the training location, though students can provide their own DOT certified helmet for the course.
