Office of Criminal Justice Services Seeks Proposals for Ohio Drug Law Enforcement Funds
(COLUMBUS) – The Office of Criminal Justice Services (OCJS) is seeking 2022 Ohio Drug Law Enforcement Fund Requests for Proposals (RFP) to cover drug task force expenses related to enforcing the state’s drug laws and combating illegal drug activity.
The Drug Interdiction, Disruption and Reduction Plan, implemented in 2016, should guide drug task forces in the coordinated approach of statewide interdiction efforts including collaboration between law enforcement and treatment providers.
“The funds will help reduce the negative impact of drug traffickers, pharmaceutical diversion, and other organized criminal activity associated with the drug trade,” said OCJS Executive Director Karhlton Moore. “The funding is also intended to improve the health and safety of Ohioans through multi-jurisdictional collaboration.”
A link to the application is available on the OCJS website online grants management system, and applications will be due Jan. 6, 2022 at 5 p.m. Projects may apply for up to 12 months operating from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023.
