Dear Law Enforcement Executives,
The Office of Criminal Justice Services has sponsored a research project to assess the impact and strategies employed by law enforcement agencies in the state of Ohio in response to COVID-19. This project is led by Dr. Robin S. Engel, Director of the IACP/University Cincinnati (UC) Center for Police Research and Policy, an organization dedicated to conducting rigorous research with practical implications for the policing field.
Your agency should have received an email from Dr. Engel with a description of the study and link to the online survey. It should be noted that participation in the research study is completely voluntary. By participating in this study, however, your agency will help provide a better overall understanding of how law enforcement agencies across the state have responded and adapted to this unprecedented time. If someone in your agency has already completed the survey, thank you. There is no need to complete the survey again.
