Ohio Department of Medicaid recently published the September edition of the new OhioRISE community newsletter, RISE Together. This newsletter features OhioRISE success stories, care management entity (CME) spotlights, OhioRISE champion stories, program updates, and information on how to enroll in OhioRISE.

Ohio Department of Medicaid’s (ODM) managed care plans provide added benefits to meet each of your needs. To help you choose the plan that best fits your healthcare needs, ODM has developed Ohio Medicaid’s Managed Care Organizations Health Plan Comparison. This document provides an overview of the services that all plans must provide, and the value-added services provided by each plan.
You can choose a plan at any time until the end of open enrollment through November 30 by visiting www.ohiomh.com or contacting the Ohio Medicaid Consumer Hotline at 800-324-8680. Representatives are available Monday through Friday 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. Eastern time (ET) and Saturday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. ET.

Did you know that Ohio Medicaid regularly sends important information to members? It is very important that you keep your contact information up to date to stay informed about your Ohio Medicaid plan and coverage.
Be sure to gather your most up to date information, including your name, home address, mailing address, phone number, and email address. Once you have that information, there are three ways that you can update your contact information:

Call the Ohio Medicaid Consumer Hotline: The Ohio Medicaid Consumer Hotline will connect you with a representative who can help you update your contact information. The Ohio Medicaid Hotline is available at 800-324-8680. Representatives are available Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Eastern time (ET) and Saturday 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. ET.

Online Portal: If you have an Ohio Benefits Self-Service Portal account, you can login and report changes to your contact information.

Contact your local County Department of Job and Family Services: You will speak directly with a case worker who can update your information.
