Medicare Enrollment Opportunities Underway
Ohioans who did not sign up for Medicare Part A and B during their initial enrollment period or a special enrollment period after retiring can still enroll during Medicare's general enrollment period. This period runs until March 31.
The Medicare Advantage open enrollment period also runs until March 31, allowing Ohioans to switch Medicare Advantage plans or return to Original Medicare. This is especially important for those whose providers are out of network in their current plan.
Coverage starts the first of the month after enrollment. Coverage options are available at medicare.gov.
