Join Us at the Ohio State Fair

I'm excited to announce that the Ohio Department of Insurance is continuing its tradition of connecting with Ohioans at the Ohio State Fair.
The fair, this year from July 24 to August 4, is a wonderful event that brings Ohioans and visitors together to celebrate the state's rich agricultural history and more. With live music, exciting activities, delicious food, enjoyable games, and thrilling rides, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Amidst all the excitement, the fair provides a great opportunity for our staff to connect with Ohioans about the important world of insurance. We will have a booth near the food court in the Bricker Marketplace Building, where we will provide valuable insurance information and answer insurance questions.
We're also excited to be part of a few special events.
RecoveryOhio's Mental Health Day is July 26 and staff from our Ohio Mental Health Insurance Assistance Office, along with other government partners, will engage fairgoers about the behavioral health services available to them and their loved ones.
And on July 30, it's Senior Day. Attendees can visit with our Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program staff at the Ohio Department of Aging’s “Well Beyond 60! EXPO” to discuss Medicare health insurance.

Access behavioral health resources throughout the fair from different government entities, including the Ohio Department of Insurance's Ohio Mental Health Insurance Assistance Office. This special day aims to make mental health support and services more visible and accessible to everyone.
Governor Mike DeWine launched the RecoveryOhio initiative to tackle substance use disorders and mental illness by uniting state departments, boards, and commissions, ensuring the health and well-being of all Ohioans.

Senior Day at the Ohio State Fair is July 30 and the Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program (OSHIIP) will be there sharing Medicare information and to answer any questions about the federal health insurance program!
Visit the OSHIIP booth at the Ohio Department of Aging's “Well Beyond 60! EXPO” from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Senior Day offers free admission to fairgoers 60+, and parking is free to everyone!
