House Bill 262
State Representative Bird is a co-sponsor of House Bill 262 – legislation that designates the weeks between Mother's Day and Father's Day as "Natural Family Month."
The U.S. birthrate recently fell to 1.7% – below the replacement level of 2.1%. This legislation highlights that marriage and creating a family is a positive goal and calls on the state to support the creation of strong, stable families for the good of Ohio’s future.
This legislation awaits further consideration in House Community Revitalization Committee.
