Early and absentee voting for this year’s primary election is underway, and your Auditor’s office wants to let voters know the Value of Your Vote.
There are 13 levies and bond issues on the ballot in municipalities across Franklin County that could affect how much residents pay in property taxes; none of the levies or bond issues are county-wide.
To help voters understand the impact of those levies, the Franklin County Auditor’s office has updated the Ballot Levy Estimator tool on the office’s website, which will enable homeowners to see how a levy or bond issue would affect their property taxes should it pass in the May election.
To use the levy estimator, visit audr-apps.franklincountyauditor.com/LevyEstimator and enter your address or your parcel number. The estimator will show all the levies that will be on your ballot and the impact they will have on your property taxes should they be approved by voters on election day, Tuesday, May 6.
Postcards with information on using the Value of Your Vote ballot levy estimator have been sent to homes that have levies on the ballot. They should have already arrived in the mail.
This election season, head to the polls knowing how much your vote matters. Go Vote!
